Winners Law Firm Welcomes the Law Society of Singapore to Promote International Legal Exchange and Cooperation

On March 27, 2025, a delegation of 22 members from the Law Society of Singapore (LSS) visited Winners Law Firm in Tianjin and successfully held a fruitful legal exchange meeting. The delegation, led by LSS President Lawyer Lisa Sam, aimed to strengthen communication and cooperation between the legal industries of both regions, jointly explore opportunities for the development of cross-border legal services, and provide insights and support for Tianjin's legal sector to "go global."

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Winners Law Firm. Lawyer Niu Tongxu, Director of the Management Committee of Winners Law Firm, introduced the delegation to the firm's development history, core practice areas, and experience in providing international legal services. Following this, several experts from Winners, including Lawyer He Yunxia, Head of the International Trade and Customs Law Department; Lawyer Yang Jie, Head of the Litigation and Arbitration Department; Lawyer Lu Rui, Head of the Financial Law Department; Lawyer Chen Yi, Partner of the Securities and Fund Law Department; Senior Consultant for Northeast Asia Liu Miao; and other professionals, engaged in in-depth group discussions with the Singaporean delegation. The discussions covered a range of hot topics, including international commercial arbitration, mediation, cross-border investment compliance, customs and trade compliance, and family law cases.

During the meeting, representatives from both sides introduced their respective firms and practice areas and exchanged views on differences between the Chinese and Singaporean legal systems, trends in the internationalization of the legal profession, and the cultivation of cross-border legal talents. The discussions were dynamic and productive, with both parties expressing their willingness to further strengthen cooperation in the future, share legal resources, and jointly provide high-quality legal services to facilitate the "going global" of Chinese enterprises and the "bringing in" of foreign businesses.

After the meeting, both parties exchanged souvenirs and took group photos to commemorate the occasion. The delegation from the Law Society of Singapore also toured the Tianjin city office of Winners Law Firm, expressing high praise for the firm's professional capabilities and international development strategy.

This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding between the legal communities of Tianjin and Singapore but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
